FUNDRAISER FOR HOPE WAY and SUICIDE PREVENTION

Eliza and I have created this fundraiser with the mission to raise money for Hope Way, a mental health clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina. These bracelets represent the love we want our community to feel. With simple messages like: “You are enough”, “You are Loved”, and many more, we hope to spread a positive message all throughout the Myers Park Community.

Spread Awareness!!!

Eliza Cuthbertson on The Prevention Project

“i am eliza cuthbertson and i started TPP a little over a year ago. i have watched my loved ones suffer from mental health issues as well as dealt with my own. i realized firsthand how much mental health problems can affect a person's life. i wanted to start a platform that would create awareness and impact lives.

the prevention project started as a school project but turned into something so much bigger. it is a safe space for vulnerability and an uplifting outlet to let you know that you aren’t alone. daily quotes that may put a smile on someone’s face or resources that might help someone in need. fundraisers that can create connections as well as events that spread love. i hope that the prevention project has done all of these things so far and will continue to as i have exciting things in the works!!!”

Ellie Eloge on The Beads Project

“My entire life i’ve been surrounded by mental health and seen the struggles that people face everyday, including myself. As i’ve gotten older, I’ve seen the effects that it takes on my friends and family, so I made it my mission to raise awareness for those who struggle with mental illness. Hope Way is a perfect example of people trying to better their community one step at a time. Im so excited to create these bracelets and raise money, as well as gain a better understanding of the Myers Park community. Through making jewelry I have found a sense of self and a passion that allows me to express style and creativity. My dream is that people will wear the bracelets they choose with pride, and use it as a reminder that you are loved and that you are enough.”
